Title: TestDirector Tester
Duration:Permanent!!
Location:Downtown Houston, TX
Start Date: ASAP (2-3 weeks from date of offer)
Salary: Salary with full benefits available
Responsibilities are:Provide expertise in automated functional/technical testing of data-intensive financial systems. Create and execute Test Plans to support project testing initiatives. Design and execute innovative test cases, test scenarios and test data. Analyze test results, report and track defects to closure and conduct root-cause analysis in collaboration with Build resources. Interact with Build, Plan and Consumer Team Members. Provide project status reporting to Management team.
Required Skills: 3 to 5 years of Software Testing experience Experience with Mercury TestDirector for defect tracking and test management. Experience in server side testing utilizing J2EE applications SQL scripting experience Knowledge of Oracle databases preferred Unix experience Must be technical, creative, detail-oriented, and a strong team player Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
Experience working at CMM Level 2 and/or 3 is advantageous
Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) certification is advantageous
