The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

 

Job Description
Client Operations professionals are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  They design, manage and implement the activities associated with key business functions. The Service Delivery/Operations capability focuses on the attributes or skills essential to providing the necessary services and solutions to the client, the client?s employees or the client?s customers in fulfilment of contractual obligations agreed upon by both parties. Examples of professionals in this capability would be software developers and technical architects. The Application Outsourcing specialty incorporates skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients.

 

The testing specialist will be responsible for the definition and execution of test scripts across a number of initiatives within the information management (IM) development factory.  The testing Specialist will also be responsible for the discovery / triage of deviations from expected results. 

 Key responsibilities may include:Develop test cases, scripts and expected results based on business and technical requirements and the test planConduct test case review with peers and development teamSet up and execute complex scripts independentlySet up test data beds based on data matching specific test conditionsDocument and perform detailed analysis on test resultsWrite/Coordinate resolution of defects using ClearQuest.  Ensures appropriate hand-offs and re-testingParticipates in requirements gathering sessions or solicits information on incomplete requirementsParticipates in internal Quality ReviewsLead activities on test team for small-scale projectsProvides status of project to test lead or managerProvide mentoring and guidance to Stage I Testing Specialists by partnering, scheduling day-to-day work and assisting when necessary

 

Qualifications

Experience requirements:2-4 years of progressive work experience in business and/or system testingDemonstrated experience in testing applications Write SQL queriesFamiliarity with Datawarehouse conceptsHealth care industry, insurance and managed care environment experience is a plusStrong Communications Skills
