Tier 3 Security Support

Kforce Professional Staffing is currently looking for a Tier 3 Security Support Professional. This individual will handle escalated problems from tier 2 working with vendor support, other groups and tier 4 if necessary to resolve issues. Job responsibilities include: Maintain service levels of infrastructure. Implement lifecycle management to include client core versions of software. Perform complex infrastructure configuration or security monitoring tasks. Develop and maintain operational documentation. Escalate issues to tier 4 if architectural change may be necessary to resolve recurring incident.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess 3-6 years security experience along with experience in virus detection, antivirus application support, network security administration, and vulnerability testing. Experience is also needed with Symantec AntiVirus and ISS Proventia products. Strong management and implementation skills are required. Potential certifications include: CISSP, MCSE, and CCNA. Required knowledge and skills: ticketing system (i.e., Remedy), MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel), basic Windows system administration (security, TCP/IP, troubleshooting skills), and antivirus software. Desired knowledge and skills: basic UNIX/Linux system administration, database administration (MS SQL Server), telecom system administration (i.e., Cisco PIX/Catalyst, iptables), intrusion detection (i.e., Snort, ISS), and Symantec AV Corporate Edition.
