Training Instructor/Developer

Akibia is looking for a dynamic individual to become a key contributor to our outstanding education team in our Austin, Texas location.  This position will be responsible for the instruction of our training engagements with key customer accounts and internal employees.    Dell Enterprise hardware and software education will be the primary focus of this position.

The ideal candidate must have a thorough understanding of TCPIP, SNMP, Enterprise Systems Management processes and administration of MS operating systems.  Administration of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory infrastructure, MS Exchange, MS Clustering, backup/recovery procedures and data center administration is desired.  Additional knowledge in Netware, Linux, Fibre Channel basics, Storage Area Network (SAN) administration, Firewall/DMZ concepts, basic security settings and management and integration of Linux into windows would be a plus.  Hardware experience must include: Dell Server and Storage configuration and administration. Compaq, HP and IBM hardware knowledge and experience would be a plus.  A minimum of three years of instructor/training and curriculum development experience is required.  Minimum A+ and MCP Certifications or equivalent knowledge preferred.  A Bachelors Degree or equivalent is required.
