Training Specialist

K&T Technologies, Inc. (KTT) is a Small Women-owned Information Technology Services business. KTT provides database development and associated training to the Department of the Army?s Test and Evaluation Command and has an active GSA Schedule for IT products and Services. Currently, KTT has a full time opening for a Training Specialist to support the continued development, training, and testing in an operational environment of a prototype test management tool.  Job Description: ? Serves as an instructor in developing and delivering hands-on training of new users on the prototype test management tool. ? Develop, deliver and maintain desk side training to test and evaluation personnel on the use of the tool; answer questions about the tool as they arise; assist the test and evaluation personnel as requested when modifications are necessary or requested. ? Assist users of the tool during actual test events of software systems in the acquisition process. During test events, discuss and record problems or suggested changes/upgrades. ? Develops and delivers custom informational briefings and training solutions. Populate and maintain the training material. ? As directed from the program manager and or the database programmer in populating and maintaining the glossary, business processes, requirements, and other knowledge management information items. ? Provide support as required to the office network, connectivity to the internet, and other office technical functions. Education: ? BS/BA desired or equivalent work experience will be considered. Experience required: ? Developed and provided software training to a range of users with different experience levels either individually or in groups. ? Developed and conducted informational briefings to senior management staff. ? Worked with US Government test and evaluation community. Skills: ? Excellent oral and written communication skills - detail-oriented and self-motivated. ? Knowledge of office LAN and internet connectivity. ? Microsoft Office with strong PowerPoint capabilities.
