Training Specialist II

Headquartered in Herndon, VA, McDonald Bradley, Inc. is an Information Technology Solutions provider to the Government marketplace.  We currently have an opening for a Training Specialist II.

Position Description: 

The Training Specialist will work on a project for a federal agency, teaching end users the functions of a new consolidated web-based system.  The training will include classroom lecture, hands-on activities, demonstrations, as well as desk-side assistance.  Trainers may also be requested to provide training on additional EOIR applications.  Trainers will be expected to assist the client in related implementation tasks.  Candidates must have experience writing training text, preparing handouts, etc.  Candidates must have experience traveling to remote locations to deliver training and they must possess the credit needed to float travel expenses until reimbursement occurs.  This position requires 100% domestic travel and the candidate must be able to obtain a DOJ Position of Public Trust clearance.

 

Qualifications/Technical Skills:

 

Experience teaching adults in COTS and proprietary software programs, including basic and advanced word processing, electronic mail, Microsoft Office products, and security.  Experience in LAN WAN environment.
