Our client has an exciting opportunity in Pittsburgh for a Project Manager. 

 

The position requires that the Project Manager work closely with the business stakeholders, IT staff, and vendors to manage projects from initiation through development, testing and delivery of the finished product. The Project Manager drives the projects by coordinating the daily operations of project teams. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings and identifies and resolves technical problems.  Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented. 

The Project Manager Job responsibilities include the following:

? Work with the Business users, IT staff, vendors and clients to gather and define project objectives

? Maintain schedules and progress on projects including determining if the proper process and methodology is being followed

? Ensure smooth transition from development to quality control and testing process

? Provide budget oversight and contain costs

? Coordinate communication across teams and with client contacts

? Provide leadership

:   Develop, monitor, and maintain schedules and progress reports

? Meet budget and timeline requirements

 

The position require at least 5 years experience in Project Management, a Bachelor's Degree, knowledge of standard project management methodologies and best practices. PMP preferred.
