Unix Administrator, Senior
Description:
BayCare is looking for a Senior AIX System Administrator to join our Mid-Range Systems Team. In this role you
will have the responsibility for the support and maintenance of AIX systems supporting enterprise wide
applications. These responsibilities include system software and hardware installations and upgrades, system
management, backup and recovery processes, and performance and capacity management. The Mid-Range
System Team is looking for highly motivated individuals. This position requires rotating on-call responsibilities
and the candidate must have the flexibility to work during approved outage windows.
Qualifications:
*Works occasional weekends
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred
IBM AIX Certification desirable
Minimum of (3 to 5 years) experience in AIX System Administration is required

Demonstrated Advanced Knowledge (3 to 5 years) with the following:
*AIX operating system
*Network Topologies and communication protocols
*HACMP
*Shell Script and PERL Programming
