Job Description: Job Responsibilities: Support engineering computing systems, and Unix/Linux services providing Cadence Design CAE services to analog mixed-signal product development teams. Responsibilities include hardware/software break/fix support as well as pro-active monitoring and improvement projects that continuously improve IC Design productivity. Administration support for Cadence Design Automation tools includes Spectre, UltraSim, Assura DRC/LVS and VXL . Responsibilities also includes software script development to enhance IC design productivity, and computing systems monitoring/uptime.

Education Required: BS Computer Science, with UNIX/Linux Industry Training or Certification.

Experience Required: 2 - 7 years of Unix/Linux support experience directly supporting a Cadence-based analog mixed-signal design team with proven product development success. Direct hands-on experience with Solaris and RedHat Linux Operating Systems experience is a must.

Desired Attributes/Qualities: Unix/Linux computer literacy; creativity; capable of independent project execution, but work well in a team environment; Good communication and internal customer interface skills .
