Minimum five years experience in enterprise-level, production system administration and network administration including TCP/IP configuration Three plus years experience with shell scripting, enterprise storage and backup, and security management Experience with web server applications, Windows, clustering and failover, Oracle backend server support and firewall rulesets a big plus

Implement IT engineering solutions encompassing the following technologies: UNIX (several flavors, including LINUX), Windows, TCP/IP, RAID, database server support, SAN storage Install, configure, troubleshoot IT systems Analyze and evaluate customer requirements and system incident reports Determine system specifications, research new technologies and present recommendation and justifications on major hardware and software purchases Manage UNIX security features to protect confidential information and configure and monitor appropriate security mechanisms Write technical documentation
