Unix/Informix Developer
Position: Unix/Informix Developer
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 2-months (possible extensions)
Project: Developing an automated system that will assist in assessing applications from customers.
Main Duties: Include but are not limited to Supporting the organization in the migration of one of its systems to a Sun Platform, Creating Informix tables and indexes & performance tuning, Testing and setup Unix Cron jobs & validate the output matches expected results, and Assist with debugging the application.
Key Skill: Government savvy consultant with 5+ years as a developer with the ability to execute UNIX commands, write UNIX Shell scripts and cron programs, C language programs (including embedded SQL), develop Informix SQL, and create Informix tables and indexes. Knowledge of Informix and UNIX shell and Cron are must have skills.
***MUST BE US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLD; IDEALLY CURRENTLY HOLDING AN MBI***
