VB/SQL Application Developer

We have opportunities available for Application Developers in Minneapolis.  Our corporate office will be relocating to a North East Suburb within the next 6 months from downtown Minneapolis.

The strongest candidates will have the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines, have excellent decision making skills and good communication skills. This person must be able to stand in front of customers and explain our applications in layman?s terms. This individual will also be working closely with developers from some of our key customers on developing applications that integrate closely with our client?s products.

Requirements:

? 3+ years experience in developing and deploying Microsoft based production quality software for Windows Server/Desktop using Visual Studio.

? A strong working knowledge of the Windows API

? A strong ability to work with 3rd party API?s and integrating them into our own software.

? Experience developing tools around e-mail and using the Microsoft Exchange API

? Experience integrating 3rd party controls

? Relational Database Design experience, with a high degree of proficiency with SQL Server and stored procedures

? Experience interfacing to relational databases

? Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions with minimal direction

? Must be flexible and able to work to deadlines

? Quick learner and able to take ownership with little supervision

? Excellent Verbal/Written Communication Skills

? Experience with estimating tasks

? Must show flexibility to pre-established coding standards and conventions


The following technical skills are a plus:

? Visual Basic 6.0, C/C++

? Visual Source Safe

? XML/XSL/XSLT/SOAP

? ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML, Web Services, JavaScript
