Vice President, Business and Systems Analysis
Countrywide?s Secondary Marketing Operations departments work together to ensure timely and accurate processing of data and collateral for delivery of collateral to investors, custodians, and to Countrywide Document Services.
The Vice President, Business and Systems Analysis manages, coordinates and supports the Secondary Marketing Operations special projects and functions and systems.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Manage the group tasked with supporting the Secondary Marketing Development groups in the development, on-going maintenance, and training of systems and reports. Support includes project definition, documentation, workflow and systems analysis, and testing and implementation, on both AS400 and Client Server systems, including, but not limited to Mercury reporting and other Lynx-based systems.
- Provide leadership in the development of business/system requirements for the Operations units, and act as a liaison between business and technical staff.
- Assist Operations management and staff in identifying specific opportunities for business development and effectiveness of business systems.
- Manage the process of providing reports and data to the business unit managers to allow them to monitor their activities and assist them in making business decisions.
A successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of a BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- 10 + years experience in systems analysis or/and auditing/accounting /business analysis experience.
- At least 6 years working in the Mortgage Banking Industry.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Access. Working knowledge of SQL and AS400 queries.
- Knowledge of IBM's AS/400 Systems and Client Server development and systems, and relational databases.
- Strong understanding of systems development and quality assurance practices and standards.
- Business knowledge in the areas of Secondary Marketing Operations, with ability to expand knowledge as the operations areas take on more functions.
