Vice President of Business Development

Our client, a Venture-backed information security software vendor based in Israel is currently looking for a VP of Business Development, USA. This position will function as a General Manager over operations in the Americas, responsible for all aspects of sales, business development, marketing, alliances, partnerships, etc. This individual will have direct P&L responsibility and will be charged with the development of the Sales and Service organization.

Duties and responsibilities include developing and executing business partnerships strategies.
Responsibilities will cover all facets of strategic business development, identifying new market opportunities for partnerships and OEMs, identifying partners, initiating conversations,
enumerating requirements, negotiating terms, and closing deals.

As part of the executive management team, this position will be involved in all business issues and strategies relating to the operations of the company as well as the long term planning.

Job Qualifications

* 10+ years of business development experience
* A clear proven understanding of OEM agreements, development partnerships, and co-selling relationships
* Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in a small and collaborative environment to deliver against ambitious targets
* Executive level strategy, communication, and presentation skills
The ideal candidate should be well rounded in all aspects of marketing and sales methodology to both vertical and IT customers. Extensive knowledge of technical markets, pricing models, enterprise sales, channels of distribution, technology trends, IT buying patterns, budgeting, public and investor relations, advertising, statistics and analysis, direct marketing, planning skills, competitive strategies, event marketing, channel marketing, merchandising. Experience with a information security company along with a technical degree with advanced marketing degree preferred; at least 10 years industry specific experience in this field required. 30-40% travel.

MUST have start-up experience.

MUST have experience closing deals with OEMs, VARs, and systems integrators.
