Vice President, Information Technology

We are currently looking for a VP, Information Technology to focus on the IT department?s strategic plan, program management, architecture, and development.This position will work in our Corporate office located in Herndon, VA.

 

Responsibilities:

Set the overall direction for the IT organization

Develop a three year strategic plan for IT, including infrastructure, development, data services, program management, and applications

Develop and implement a program management process for managing IT development and maintenance programs

Develop and implement a change management process for all IT programs

Develop an overall logical and physical architecture for all IT systems

Develop and manage IT budget

 

 

Qualifications:

Total 15+ years of IT leadership experience

 5+ years in a Senior Level IT position

 7+ years of direct IT development experience

 5+ years of production support experience

 7+ years of Program Management experience

Telecommunications technical understanding is preferred

Previous history of supporting marketing/sales functions

Billing/Customer Care systems experience

IT Desktop support experience

5 + years IT Architecture experience

IT Strategic planning

Engineering or Computer Science degree, MS preferred

MBA preferred, but not required

Excellent oral and written communications skills
