Currently we are looking for a Visual Studio.Net Developer to join our IS department.

 

General Overview:

Provide expertise in the analysis, design, development and implementation of computer applications running on multiple platforms including the Iseries and MS SQL Server using Visual Studio .net. Primary areas of focus will be in developing a suite of Merchandise systems.  Coordinate and lead work of assigned resources.  Provide support for Sarbanes-Oxley related initiatives. Provide technical leadership to .net programmers in support of new Merchandise systems. 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

? Business Systems Analysis. Develops in depth knowledge of Company business functions with an emphasis on Merchandise & Inventory.  Works with business areas to define business requirements. Develops Conceptual Design documents for new or enhanced systems of varying complexity. 

? Project Management / Team Leader.  Develop, monitor and maintain project plans to facilitate the integration of new or enhanced systems.  Provides project progress reports.  Acts as a team leader on computer programming projects.  Provides technical guidance, advice and training to other .net junior programmers.  Provides input into performance reviews for project team members.

? Computer Technical Skills.  Develop Technical Design documents for new or enhanced systems.  Develops computer programs of varying complexity.  Develop and executes test plans. Develop technical documentation in support of system work that is done.  Participate in or leads technical walk-through.

 

Job Requirements:

? Minimum 5 years of Visual Studio .net programming experience

? Experience with Visual Studio .Net Framework 1.1 or 2.0

? Experience with AS400/Iseries DB2/400. RPGLE or FREE, CL and DDS is preferred

? Experience with MS SQL Server 2000 or 2005 is preferred

? Experience in retail systems a plus

? Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
