VoIP Account Executive

mindSHIFT is hiring VoIP Field Account Executives to help us continue our impressive growth rate.  This is an exciting opportunity for solution oriented sales professionals to join of the northeast?s largest providers of IT support/outsourcing for small and medium size businesses.

 

This is a ?hunter? position responsible for selling both premise based and centralized VoIP solutions to small and medium size businesses (20-400 employees).  A VoIP Account Executive needs to build strong business relationships based upon trust and providing value.  To be successful you need to have the ability to listen to and understand a prospect?s business needs and to successfully match the proper solution.

Qualifications:

 

? Bachelor?s Degree (BA/BS)

? 5-10 years sales experience with recent experience selling to Senior Executives in small to medium size firms

? Experience selling telecom equipment or services

? Consultative sales experience includes; probing for business impact, multiple decision makers, multi-year contract, long sales cycle, customized service offering.

? Working knowledge of telecommunication including all aspects of data and voice networking.

? Excellent communications skills

? Technical degree or experience a plus

Responsibilities include:

? Meeting or exceeding quota

? Prospecting ? identifying and qualifying customers through cold calling, leveraging personal contacts, following up on company generated leads

? Personally attending network events, conferences and tradeshows to build relationships that will create new business opportunities

? Building trust and value with partners to develop leads

? Keeping your leads, opportunities and deals up-to-date with automation tools. 

? Pipeline Management ? balancing sales activity for prospects to ensure consistent sales performance each month
