Voice Product Manager (ITI)

The UBS global network spans six continents. The internal network is designed and supported by an internal department called Connectivity & Mainframe Services (CMS). CMS delivers cost-effective, innovative network infrastructure internally, under well-defined SLAs.

This role is for a Voice Product Manager. Product Managers are senior leaders within IT, with responsibility for life cycle business management for the product from their point of introduction, through maturity and eventual decline. This includes: (1) Development of Product Strategy: soliciting and understanding business/users requirements on a regular basis; defining global technology development direction; understanding market conditions and industry trends and developing delivery strategy to include implementation, delivery, support and maintenance of products). (2) Delivery of Products: Identifying and developing new proposals; managing capacity planning and critical changes for each product; and defining and measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for each product. (3) Management of the Product as a business by; defining and developing a cost structure and cost allocation methodology for each product; Managing Product forecast, its allocation, and controlling the costs; providing regular reports to our customers (as defined in the SLA) and managing vendor relationships.

Ability to work under pressure independently in a fast paced environment; strong interpersonal skills; ability to build consensus and bring diverse opinions to conclusion with differing technology and business teams globally; ability to manage virtual teams; strong & proven communication ability; ability to relate technical designs to underlying business requirements; proven record of business case development and analysis; proven record of the creation of strategies and roadmaps, strong vendor management skills operating in a global multi-vendor environment, must possess product and project management understanding and skills; should have strong accounting knowledge with respect to budgets and proposals.

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of technology experience within the standard, mobile and trader telephony areas, as a Product Manager (or similar), and team leader. Must have worked with, and lead, an international team of network engineers. Global Service Delivery/Operational experience a plus. Bachelors Degree in Computing/Engineering, Business or Finance.

MBA Preferred.
