Web Application Developer

VentureNet, a Birmingham based Internet solutions creator, seeks a full time developer to build and maintain cutting edge web based applications.  The position requires a talented, inventive-minded person who enjoys the challenges of developing unique applications to meet specific goals. Our clients use their web sites as critical applications, often central to their businesses. Projects range from extremely simple to very complex and usually incorporate innovative uses of new or existing technology. The Web Application Developer is central to designing and creating these applications and overseeing their deployment.

 

Required skills: PHP, Flash, SQL, XML, JavaScript, CSS and HTML

Preferred skills: ASP and ASP.NET.  

 

The developer must also have strong communication skills and the ability to work well alone and within a team environment.  Creativity is encouraged.  Our office is open for better team communication.  We are small enough to be nibble in our development and large enough to retain exciting clients.  Travel is limited to local areas.  Applicants should send their resumes and portfolios or work examples (if possible)  to resume@venturenet.net
