Workflow Administrator
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Workflow Administrator will be responsible for running and supporting medium to large size projects for business applications. Individual will work closely with business partners to define requirements, design, develop, and implement business application solutions. This individual will lead technical resources and project life cycle activities (requirement definition, design, configuration, environment build/installation, testing and deployment) and will provide leadership for current and emerging environments.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Creates and manages project plans.
Assist supervisor with development of realistic project plans and estimates.
Monitor/track project activities, update project plans, report project status.
Direct the day-to-day project activities.
Perform development planning and skills alignment.
Manage and mentoring other associates assigned to the project.
Track project issues.
Work with the business on defining and developing business application solutions and
works closely with end-user organizations to understand and facilitate requirements definition.
Analyze and document business rules, business processes, process flows, and business requirements.
Provide leadership and hands-on review of design, configuration, and administration functions and acts as a liaison between technical and business areas.
Work with project team to transform system requirements into a design.
Analyze/identify data and metadata requirements.
Map data elements from legacy system to data base model.
Interfaces with all project teams
Verify system requirements by development of test scripts and scenarios
Develop and/or assist technical team with critical path tasks including programming in the following areas:

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB:
B S degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
5-8 years of IT development experience in developing full lifecycle implementations, support, and upgrades.
Strong customer focused skills and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Broad business knowledge and experience
Excellent ability to communicate (both verbal and written) with both technical and non-technical staff
Demonstrated ability to manage medium to large sized projects
Strong organizational and decision making skills
Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Proven ability to handle and resolve conflicts.
Be flexible in learning new tools and techniques required to support a project through the life cycle development.
Relevant Development Experience:
Oracle skills
Data warehouse modeling, techniques and concepts, preferably with SAP BW environment
Unix scripting
Experience in leading Java development, including Web Application Servers (BEA/Apache, Tomcat), HTML, XML, JSP
