Current Need Specialist Prodcut Manager - Workflow Utility Subject Matter Expert (MMP)Additional Knowledge & Skills

The primary goal of the Specialist Product Manager, Workflow Utility SME is to create the business and functional requirements for the workflow configuration/editing/creation engine/utility for MMP. This also includes coordinating and understanding the interaction and integration of workflow creation with the rules and clinical content setup and editing utilities. The primary responsibilities are to ensure that the workflow creation/editing engine/utility supports the ability for non-technical staff to create and edit workflows for use across all of the MMP workflow and BI modules. This is including, but not limited to, identification, documentation, review and evaluation of business/functional requirements for the platform, and providing expert product knowledge support to the entire MMP onsite and offshore development teams. This person will also provide input into market positioning, pricing, monitoring, of market needs and competitor activities.

Key Responsibilities (List five to seven essential responsibilities):

Write business and functional requirements and use cases to support software application releases for the workflow editing/creation utility as part of MMP; participate in software requirements and product design sessions as required.
Provide support and act as liaison between product management, development, project management and development partner to help resolve development-related issues
Responsible for providing product knowledge support to the entire MMP onsite and offshore working teams
Participate in development/review of functional specifications and use cases
Participate in review/evaluation of produced design documentation, detailed requirements and prototypes
Lead effort in developing QA test cases and participate in user acceptance testing including organizing internal McKesson staff and Client Advisory Board to participate in this process
Provide project status to Product Management lead and project management team

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education/Training - 4 year degree preferred in Business, or related technical or clinical field.

Business Experience - Possess a minimum of 6+ years of product management, business systems analysis or equivalent experience in a technology company. Proven experience in the design of workflow configuration, creation and editing tools/engines for use by non technical users.

Preferred Qualifications -
Excellent working knowledge and understanding of configurable workflow engines, payor care management workflow environment and a working understanding of payor business intelligence needs.
Ability to understand conceptual models (semantic and logical models) and application development processes
Understanding of the Rational Unified Process (RUP)
Ability to create and understand UML diagrams
