XML Developer must be able to design and code complex applications using one or more of the following languages: VB, VB.NET, C# and C++.? Must have knowledge of the MS Word 2003 object model and Smart Document Interface.? Must have knowledge of how to use the .NET framework to create custom templates in MS Word 2003.? Must be able to design complex XML schemas based on a set of requirements for various document types.? Must have skills to create XML transformations for multiple output types.? Must be able to apply XML Schema to MS Word 2003 document and design Smart documents based on XML schema.? Must be able to create Web Services using the .Net framework.? Must be able to create code to consume Web services using the .Net framework.? Must have knowledge of document creation?software packages, specifically Word 2003, and the ability to create custom applications for them.? Must have extensive knowledge of XML Development techniques and concepts related to associated XML technologies.? This includes complex XML schema development and creation of XML transformations for multiple output channels.? Must?have knowledge of programming languages required to create custom document creation applications and add-ons.? Must have knowledge of the document life cycle and how technology can be used to enhance the user experience while working within the life cycle.
