Job Description.  The Site Manager is responsible for the daily functioning and maintenance of CACE related hardware and software installations in support of the CACE concept of operations with MAG-13 and subordinate organizations. Additionally the Site Manager will maintain the ability to demonstrate and instruct military personnel in the basic functionality of all CACE applications. 

 

Specific Responsibilities

 

1.  Conduct daily liaison with MALS-13 AISD for the configuration and installation of all CACE hardware components within MAG-13. 

2.  Conduct as required liaison with base and NMCI personnel for the proper functioning of the CACE architecture within MAG-13.

3.  Install required CACE and supporting software on CACE compliant computers. 

4.  Configure designated computers with access to CACE related sites via the local area network (LAN). 

5.  Configure designated MAG and Squadron NALCOMIS hosts for compatibility with CACE architecture.

6.  Configure and monitor the proper functioning of the CACE Data Warehouse (DW) computers and CACE servers.

7.  Perform installation/configuration and functionality testing of all CACE applications.

8.  Conduct daily base-lining of designated CACE reports with updated NALCOMIS reports.

9.  Conduct daily base-lining of designated CACE applications with CACE DW and NALCOMIS.

10.  Maintain close liaison with designated unit personnel for the proper functioning of CACE hardware/software. 

11.  Train designed unit personnel in installation, configuration and basic troubleshooting of CACE hardware/software.

12.  Maintain ability to demonstrate and instruct designated unit personnel on all CACE applications. 

13.  Stay informed of all local requirements including NMCI that may affect the CACE architecture within MAG-13

14.  Support deployed operations for the installation and configuration of the CACE architecture at locations other than MCAS Yuma to include embarkation aboard naval

vessels.

 

 

Requirements

 

1.  Hold or be eligible for a DOD Secret security clearance.

2.  Possess a High School diploma or equivalent. 

3.  Posses four years of experience with the following Operating Systems and software:

a. MS Windows NT, 2000, Server, and Exchange Server

  b. MS Office

  c. UNIX/Linux

4. Posses four years of experience with the following network components:

  a. System administration

  b. Network architecture (installation/configuration)

  c. User accounts and network protocols

  d. ODBC and FTP

  e. TCP/IP

5.  Possess effective communication (both orally and written) skills.

6.  Posses ability to work independently while accomplishing daily tasks and company objectives.

 

Additional Desirable Skills (not required)

 

1.  Posses knowledge/experience with the following

  a. MicroSoft SQL Server, MS Access, Sybase, Informix

  b. Visual Basic

  c. MicroStrategy

  d. SQL

  e. HTML, ASP, XML
