eDiscovery

Currently seeking eDiscovery candidate with a solid background in legal electronic file processing for the Detroit Metro Area.  The right candidate will be responsible for ensuring that once data is collected through eDiscovery, the correct files are sent for conversion.  Once the files are converted into the proper format for legal staff, candidate will ensure the correct load files, images and database information are present.  Position also involves reviewing files that are loaded into customized litigation software.  All candidates must have at least five years organizing and working with electronic documents and files.  Detailed working knowledge of the Windows file system and Microsoft Office document properties would be highly beneficial.  Candidates must be extremely detailed oriented and be able to meet very high standards of accuracy.  The ability to plan, track, and manage complicated ongoing tasks is necessary. 


Applicants must have strong technical skills and some college level computer training.  Responsibilities for this position include learning to operate and operating a system used to process email and other electronic documents for use in litigation.  You will work with legal assistants and attorneys as well as technical support personnel to collect the appropriate electronic documents and then process them using our proprietary system.  Candidates must have a solid understanding of electronic document and/or email processing and must also be accustomed to working under pressure to achieve client dictated timelines.

 All application-specific training will be provided, but you will need to be able to quickly learn and become expert in a complicated set of systems.

 Detailed orientation, Concordance, Access, and Oracle database knowledge as well as an understanding of imaging and document coding are absolute pluses.

 A bachelor?s degree is a requirement, preferably in a technology-related field of study.
