iSeries RPG Programmer/Analyst

Cornerstone Consolidated Services Group, Inc. provides logistics, distribution and call center services to several high-quality, well respected catalog companies.  In order to support these companies the Information Technologies department employs multiple packages that run on an IBM iSeries. These packages use RPGIV and RPG ILE on version V5R3 of the operating system.

 

There is a need at CCSG for an experienced iSeries RPG Programmer/Analyst. The qualification for this job would include:

 

? The ability to design, code, and test programs in RPGIV and RPG ILE

? Familiarity with distribution center operations

? Working with peers and users to debug and correct system problems

? The ability to write and interpret CLs

? A working knowledge of the iSeries query language

? Familiarity with a methodology

? Some experience with catalog management systems

 

 

There are also some qualifications that would be desirable:

 

? Knowledge of the PkMS package from Manhattan and Associates

? Knowledge of SQL

? Knowledge of Ecometry and/or CWDirect (Mozart)

? Knowledge of Visual Basic and the Microsoft Office suite
