You will be responsible for designing, developing and documenting new and existing programs.

 

About the Role:  The Principle Duties and Responsibilities of this position include:

o Design, develop and enhance current applications
o Work closely with development team
o Work closely with the business owners
o Provide leadership on some projects
o Become a Subject Matter Expert on several applications



o 5 + years .net development experience
o 5+ years experience with RDB’s — SQL Server and/or Oracle and/or Sybase
o 5 + years writing stored procedures
o 3 + years of web development experience
o 1-2 years of middleware messaging (MQ Series)
o 1-2 years of Java development
o Experience on both MS and Unix platforms
o Familiar with version control software
o 1+ year of Visio
o 1+ year of MS-Project
o 1+ year of ErWin


o Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft platforms and products.
o Strong written and oral communication.
o Ability to manage multiple tasks without close supervision.
o Strong work ethic. Motivated and a self starter.
o Analytical, detail oriented and organized.
o Excellent troubleshooting skills.
o Financial industry experience would be a big plus!


 


Educational Experience:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operational Management, Computer Science or related field is required.
