Alarm Installers/Technicians

Sonitrol, a proven leader in commercial intrusion and loss prevention, is seeking experienced alarm system installers and service technicians to serve our Bakersfield area customers. We're growing so quickly that we need installers and technicians experienced in any of these specialties: burglar alarm systems, fire detection and monitoring systems, access control systems and CCTV/video systems.

We're the largest operator of Sonitrol-brand security businesses in the U.S., and have been in business here in California for nearly 30 years! We currrently operate 12 Sonitrol operating territories via 5 offices, from Bakersfield through Stockton in the San Joaquin Valley, and throughout the Bay Area. We're getting ready to open our 6th office, in Simi Valley, to service our new NW Los Angeles/Ventura County business!

With the new Verified Response Ordinances being passed in cities throughout California (ex: Fremont, Simi Valley), our business is going to skyrocket! In cities in which police will only respond to Verified Alarms (like ours), we have the best product AND the lowest cost - not a bad combination for sales, eh? This means that we'll need ever more installers and technicians, and lots of opportunity exists for upward mobility within the company!

Successful candidates will:

- Have an ability to work efficiently and independently

- Have a record of success in installing and/or servicing security systems, including burglar alarm systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems and/or CCTV systems OR be experienced in other types of low voltage installations.

- NOTE: WE'RE ALSO SEEKING BEGINNING INSTALLERS WITH LITTLE TO NO EXPERIENCE, BUT WITH A WILLINGNESS TO WORK HARD AND LEARN.

- Be comfortable speaking with customers, as this position involves substantial customer interaction

- A valid driver's license and good driving record

- We're particularly interested in finding men/women who would like to work thir way into leadership positions, such as foreman or team leader.

Our compensation package includes a base salary, monthly/quarterly production bonuses of up to 50% of salary, use of a company vehicle (installers share with another), 401k and Section 125 plans, health insurance, paid holidays, vacations and a great environment filled with opportunity.
