Christie Digital Systems USA, the world?s largest manufacturer of digital and cinema projectors and accessories is currently seeking a highly motivated Audio Visual Technician to fill a Field Application Engineer position for its industry leading line of products. This position will support the West Coast, Los Angeles area so applicants should reside or be able to travel without difficulty to Los Angeles, California.

The FAE position is responsible for providing customer and equipment support in the field. Traveling around the country, this position is responsible for maintaining high quality standards and performance of company equipment and products in all venues.

Your Audio Visual background will help with the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment that is manufactured by Christie Digital or that directly or indirectly interfaces with Christie products. We require at least 5 years of solid hands-on work experience.

Excellent communication skills will assist you in preparing technical documentation, reports and training materials.

Interpersonal skills will allow you to serve as a field liaison to other company personnel, suppliers, customers and manufacturing to provide technical support and assistance.

Your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for the training of Christie?s customers in the proper use of the company?s products, systems tools and test equipment required to make them perform optimally.

Your ability to work well autonomously will allow you to work closely with customers to set your travel schedule, complete necessary reports, and handle general to complex assignments with limited supervision.
