Audio Visual Operations Manager

SPL Integrated Solutions, a large audio visual systems integration and service company, is seeking a full-time Audio Visual Operations Manager in New York City. The position being offered is a challenging senior technical support role involving the management of a team of technicians providing testing, operation, & troubleshooting of AV equipment, while interfacing with executive level end users. Individual must be willing and able to lead a team that is dedicated to the disciplined adherence of published standard operating procedures. Strong understanding of VC technology, IP infrastructure, collaboration, and presentation technologies is required.

 

This individual must exhibit a level of maturity that allows he or she to function successfully in a fast paced customer focused corporate environment supporting high-level executives in their routine and special event meeting requirements.  5+ years of relevant experience are required.

 

Management and oversight (hands-on if necessary) of the multimedia support team in their delivery of:

- Execution of all aspects of videoconferences including call set up, end user training, troubleshooting, and follow through on escalation of trouble issues.

- Setting up, testing, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual and videoconference equipment; (e.g. video data projection systems, computers, audio- and videoconference equipment, microphones, video cameras, audio systems, and operation integrated AV systems).

- Consultation and education to all levels of end users on presentation technology equipment.

- Backing up or assisting to other technical staff as required.

- Extensive troubleshooting and break/fix experience in AV and videoconferencing related technology (various projectors, control systems, audio- and videoconferencing
