TITLE:  Building Maintenance

 

Skills

?  Must be able to speak English

?  Must have a clean driving record from the DMV

?  To work independently without the constant supervision of others

?  The ability to listen to others and carry out tasks given to you

?  Must be able to complete basic maintenance tasks such as changing A/C filters and greasing machines

?  Must be able to handle basic tools such as drills and saws

?  Electrical knowledge is a plus

?  Mechanical knowledge is a plus

?  The ability to speak Spanish is a plus

 

DESCRIPTION:  Responsibilities include:

 ?  Building maintenance ? this position is responsible for the general upkeep of a 50,000 sq ft commercial building.  Hours are between 6:30am and 3:30pm on a daily basis ? overtime will be required on occasion.  Must be self motivated and reliable.  This position will work with all departments at the facility and will be under the supervision of the operations manager.  Salary will be determined by skill and experience.

 

 

?  Walk the property daily and clean up trash

?  Keeping the shipping docks clean

?  Maintaining the building?s dust collection system

?  Responsible for moving machines when necessary

?  Must update placards in production area as needed

?  Responsible for completing any painting needed on the property

?  Responsible for fixing any holes in the walls on the property

?  Will occasionally be asked to run errands to purchase supplies

?  Responsible for changing A/C filters around the property

?  Must maintain outside equipment storage containers
