TAC Worldwide Companies is currently looking for a Break/Fix Technician in Torrance, CA.
Job Description:
Provide technical support for computers and associated networks. Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair personal computers, network equipment such as servers, modems, multiplexes, related PC software, telephones, cables, and connectors. Provide personal computer, hardware, and software support. Install, service, and repair personal computers and install attendant software. Connect personal computers and terminals to existing data networks. Maintain trouble logs in Peregrine ticketing system. Instruct users in the use of personal computers and networks. Investigate information, network, and communications needs of users, and make recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases. Perform basic PC, PBX, and network software programming.
Majority of task are basic hardware/software break-fix. Tasking can also include conference and multimedia room setups.
Qualifications:
A+ or MCP Certification required
Must be able to pass a drug screen and a background check
