Building Maintenance Tech

Atlanta property management firm seeks 2 experienced Building Maintenance Technicians to independently perform a wide variety of general maintenance repairs relating to an assigned portfolio of properties and complete appropriate paperwork in a timely manner. Assist in professional development of co-workers as needed.

Be responsible for the overall maintenance of building, utility systems and building equipment including: routine building inspections according to company policy;
Install and repair new and existing plumbing fixtures drain lines and accessories;
periodic testing, servicing, and recording results of cross connection devices;
preventive maintenance, installation and repair of water pipes, controls, and associated equipment; minor repair of heating, ventilation, and air condition; Monitor water chemical treatment programs for cooling towers and fountains. Monitor tenant space temperatures and adjust thermostats when needed.
Investigate and monitor repeat tenant-related calls and report them to the Building Systems Administrator.
Perform minor leak repairs to roof, window, and fountains.
Assist contractors with life safety alarm systems and water-based or dry fire protection systems shut downs and testing.
Install and repair ceiling tiles, wall coverings, vinyl tile, carpet, cove base, window blinds, signage, etc.

2 years' prior industrial or commercial building maintenance experience is required. Other requirements include: Documented training/certification/license in one or more of the following fields: Plumbing,Mechanical,Roofing. Be available for emergency calls at night, weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule. Fundamental knowledge of state and local building codes. Maintain a current Georgia Driver's License.
