Summary of Duties:
Performs customer support activities involving the installation, modification and repair of equipment and systems.
? Conduct on-site installation of equipment and systems following established testing procedures to ensure proper working order.
? Isolate equipment start-up malfunction and take corrective action
? Set up hardware and verify proper operation. Ensure system software is functional.
? Introduce customer to system hardware and its basic modes of operation
? Represent Company in dealings with customer and is responsible for customer’s satisfaction with equipment.

Education/Training:
Technical degree from a four year college or university, or equivalent
Skills/Knowledge:
Candidates must have:
o Complete knowledge of Canberra equipment
o Very good verbal communication skills
o Good written skills
o A self-starter
o Must be logical and analytical when facing problems
Physical Demands:
o While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl..
o The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Previous Experience:
2-5 years experience in a field service role
