We are currently seeking a Chief Engineer to join our office located in Washington DC.

CHIEF ENGINEER - Washington DC

Responsibilities:
Manage, operate and maintain the properties central plant and mechanical systems in a manner, which protects, maintains and improves the value of the owner's asset
Implement and monitor hazard control and team safety practices, ensure compliance with local codes and regulation and help pass the threshold portion of the operations audit
Operate and manage energy management systems to maximize energy efficiency
Implement preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance/repair programs
Select contracted services as required, for the central plant and mechanical systems, monitor performance per scopes of work and contractual agreements
Develop multi-year energy improvement plans for the plant/property and manage the process to complete them
Manage the activities of all employees engaged in operating and maintaining the central plant
Manage the central plant expenses at budgeted levels
Manage capital projects in a timely, cost effective manner at budgeted levels
Provide budget information for the central plant with emphasis on minimizing expenses by efficient use of manpower and materials
