Cable Technician - Field Service Representative

In this position you will be responsible for providing on-site support for the On Command product line, including: preventative maintenance, updates, system level problem resolution and frequent customer contact.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Basic maintenance and routine repair of equipment.

Updates and replacements of company products.

 Basic troubleshooting of equipment and be responsible for alerting Area Management and/or Technical Support on problems that exceed area of expertise.

 Follow On Command?s Standards & Practices as directed by the company.

 Adhere to proper safety practices relating to day to day operations.

 Must ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance, which may impact product performance and take responsibility for potential or desired follow-up services or problem escalation.

Work may involve occasional assignment of a non-routine nature requiring independent judgment.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 3 to 5 years, including basic MATV experience and the ability to identify problems and replace components.

 Knowledge of MS Office products and intermediate computer skills.

General understanding of routine command levels.

Ability to prioritize, organize and balance multiple duties under extreme time constraints. 

MATV/RF identification and problem resolution.

 Good verbal and written communications skills.

 On-call and beeper required.
