Spherion in partnership with Service Experts, has an Immediate Need for a Commercial Service Technician for their Davenport, Iowa location. This opportunity is a direct-hire position, for a LEADER in HVAC installation, maintenance and repair.
Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
? 2 years Commercial HVAC experience
? EPA Certified
? Refrigeration experience
? High School Diploma
? Presentable Appearance
?Have Strong Customer Service and Excellent Communication Skills
?Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug screening
?Be able to pass a motor vehicle check
Job Description:
Service/Maintenance Technician will provide basic maintenance skills in the area of HVAC maintenance and repair in a Residential setting. Company van will be provided.
Service Technician
? Record dispatch information.
? Follow introduction procedures.
? Perform tune-up and identify any problems.
? Diagnose problems.
? Identify if Green Flags exist.
o Is the equipment old for this market or does it appears to be in poor condition?
o Is there a probability of excessive utility bills due to inefficient equipment?
? Prepare paperwork.
? Present findings and recommendations to customers.
? Get approval from customers to make repairs.
? Complete repairs & paperwork
? Present Service Work Orders to customers.
? Attempt to sell PLUS Agreements if needed.
? Collect payments.
? Debrief with Dispatchers.
? Complete daily paperwork.
