Job Description:

The Custom Technician will install audio/video (A/V) components and systems for residential & commercial customers. This individual will be detailed oriented, keep accurate records and have excellent customer service skills. Creativity and self motivation are critical.

Primary Responsibilities:

Experience in all areas of A/V installation and integration.

(Low voltage wiring, fish walls, terminations, cable pulling, use of hand tools, ability to setup and program equipment).

Self motivated, ability to work unsupervised, conduct your work in a professional manner.

Knowledge of audio wiring, RS-232 pinouts and video signal types.

Properly wire and configure home theater gear.

Program universal remote controls.

Install multi-room audio systems.

Rack installation and design.

Plasma and surround sound installation.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of job related experience dealing with customers in-home and retail. Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of various test equipment. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Certifications and licenses a plus.
