District Service Manager

Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies Sector is seeking an experienced District Service Manager for our Denver, CO location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Handle all service related activities within a District in the NAD Truck and Trailer division. Overall revenue, dealers, and customers vary by location. Manage Commercial Policy budget based on District and Region objectives. Initiate and Manage customer campaigns and service upgrades for customers within district.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identify and implement solutions to specific product problems of end user and dealer customers relating to the use of Thermo King truck and trailer products.

- Work as liaison between the dealer/customer and the TK service department.

- Provide expert technical advice and instruction regarding the maintenance, operation, and repair of Thermo King products to authorized dealers, end users, and OEM's.

- Monitor and enforce dealer compliance with the authorized dealer agreement as it relates to service issues.

- Negotiate, approve, or deny policy settlements to claims by customers and dealers relating to Thermo King truck and trailer products.

- Work with dealers to improve our service network. This includes overseeing dealer technician certification, improving service capabilities, increasing customer base and mitigating competition as identified by crown performance.



REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School diploma required.

- 5 + years techical school or equivalent.

- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in the transport refrigeration industry .

- Proven ability to learn complex systems.

- Proven mechanical ability in actual shop environment.

- Experience with engines, electrical workings and reading wiring diagrams desirable.

- Proficient with MicroSoft office products - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

- Ability to train/present to group.
