Driver II/Driver I

CITY: Phoenix STATE: Arizona COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
1. Responsible for the delivery, set up and repair of the fleet of over-the-road trailers
2. Transport trailers to specified destinations
3. Repairs and/or maintains the trailers as needed
4. Loading supplies such as blocks, steps, and furniture
5. Must be able to effectively communicate with GE TFS/MS customers.
6. Maintain contact (radio or telephone) with the Branch or Fleet Manager to receive delivery or pickup instructions.
7. Ability to complete daily vehicle inspection reports, in accordance with GE TFS/MS guidelines
8. Daily completion of DOT Hours of Service Logs
9. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
10. Other duties as assigned


Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Strong customer service, organizational, and basic mechanic skills
2. Minimum three years of hands on truck trailer repair/driving experience
3. Safe driving record and valid CDL
4. Must be able to pass a DOT physical, or valid exemption set by DOT regulations.
5. Must be familiar with FMCSR.
6. Age requirement as set by local, state and federal requirements
7. Ability to work independently
8. Ability to work overtime


Desired:
1.High school or equivalent education

General:
Candidates with at least eight years of hands on truck trailer repair/driving experience will be considered for the Driver I opening.
