Electrician / Maintenance Technician

Dietrich, the nation's largest manufacturer of light gauge steel framing products, is currently seeking an Electrician / Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility located in Hutchins, Texas. Our operation is a clean, safe, team-oriented, production environment.

Required skills include H.S./GED, knowledge of schematics, electrical control panel designs (12v DC?480 v AC), machine wiring, industrial electronics, PLC programming, AC/DC motors and drives, networking of industrial machinery, heavy equipment installations, hydraulics, pneumatics, building maintenance, and OSHA regulations required. Responsibilities will include machine installations, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and repairs of roll forming equipment.
Position requires own tools, 3 to 5 years of verifiable work experience. Candidates should have a strong knowledge and working background in trouble shooting, electrical systems. Candidates should also have hydraulic, pneumatic system knowledge along with welding, machining, and fabrication skills. This position is responsible for both electrical and mechanical repairs of equipment in a fast paced production/manufacturing environment. Candidates must be willing to work any shift, including 2nd shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm) or an off shift for PM programs.
