Electro-Mechanical Technician

Teva Pharmaceuticals is currently looking for an Electro-Mechanical Technician in the Maintenance department in Sellersville, PA. The Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.

 

The specific responsibilities of this position are as follows:
* Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains equipment
* Supports operators and cell operations
* Leads and trains other employees
* Orders parts, writes SOPs, and job instruction manuals
* Conducts machine changeover and setups when business needs require
* Assists in maintaining regulatory compliance within cell
* Follows Tevas safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
* Performs other duties as assigned or required by business needs


Minimum Requirements: (Training, skills, and experience):
*MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 3RD SHIFT.
* Experience in a pharmaceutical, Food or Beverage packaging, chemical or
biochemical manufacturing environment
* Able to set up and train others in set up of equipment in their assigned
business cell
* Able to troubleshoot and repair all mechanical and electrical issues in their
assigned business cell
* 3-5 years experience with maintenance and repair manufacturing or packaging
equipment
* Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatics
* Able to lift/move up to 40lbs and occasionally up to 45lbs.
* Able to work safely with heavy equipment
* Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, feel objects, tools,
controls, reach with hand and arms, talk, and hear and good vision
* Not allergic to chemicals found in the facility
* Prepared to work in a team environment through cooperative participation in
department and interdepartmental teams
