Electronic Inspector

SimplexGrinnell is a global leader in the design, manufacture, installation and service of comprehensive array of networked integrated fire alarm and suppression, security and communications systems.  Our continued success and growth has produced a need for a Electronic Inspector in our Omaha, NE location.

 

Responsibilities:


Provide inspection related service to customers on systems to include, but not limited to:  Fire Alarm, Security, Nurse Call, Intercom, Sound and Phone.
Liaison with customers to maintain inspection schedules
Complete and turn in all Service paperwork to the Service Coordinator and Project Manager in a timely manner.
Periodically be on-call for after-hour service, including weekends and holidays.
Report directly to the Total Service Manager
Identification, quotation and completion of identified inspection deficiencies

 

 

Minimum Requirements:
A comfortable working knowledge with Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word.
Able to read blue prints.
Excellent customer relations and communications skills.
Working knowledge of standard electronic test equipment.
Basic understanding of DC circuits and troubleshooting of electrical faults on them.
Be able to achieve NICET Level II Certification or greater within two years.
Valid driver?s license and State of Nebraska Fire Alarm Inspectors License
