Line Maintenance Technician - Swingshift

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 This position directly supports the manufacturing and development effort of a MEMS wafer fab through the maintenance and repair of equipment.  This position will work in a team environment to repair semiconductor manufacturing equipment and other related equipment in a multi-shift setting.  In addition, this position shall order necessary replacement parts as well as spares, coordinate outside service, maintain service records, and work with other departments to resolve equipment related issues.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

Performs repairs to broken equipment

Performs preventive maintenance on multiple tools

Coordinates outside service on down equipment and major PMs

Coordinates service and repair with other departments

Maintains excellent documentation on toolsCross-trains other technicians on effective repair techniquesOther related tasks and projects as required

 

Education, Skills and Experience Required:

 High school diploma with college degree or professional certification preferredMinimum seven years experience in cleanroom, semiconductor equipment maintenance

Must have knowledge of LPCVD systems, Ultratech Steppers, Aligners and SVG Track tools

Must have ability to trouble shoot equipment to board levelMust be able to read schematics and mechanical drawings

Must have above average communication skills

Must have good knowledge of basic computer software
