Equipment Technician 2

Job Description: Independently performs and coordinates preventive maintenance and equipment repair on a high speed check processing NCR I Tran/7780 Sorter on a continual basis. Will also work in Bell and Howell statement inserter machines. Primary responsibility is focused on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Coordinates the installation, discontinuation, and relocation of equipment. Completes required logs and reports of maintenance activities. Develops reference materials and procedures that will become guidelines for others. Ensures diagnostic tools and service aids are in appropriate working order. Provides guidance to lower level Equipment Technicians.

*** This is a 2nd shift position working M-F from 4:00pm-12:30am. ***


Minimum Qualifications: Previous experience maintaining and repairing an ITran/7780 Sorter from NCR and Bell and Howell. Flexibility in schedule, including the ability to work weekends as the business need dictates. Strong sense of urgency. Must have a 2 year electronic degree or equivalent work experience.
