Position - Field Service / Controls Technician
We Are:
Eastern Automation Services is a Field Service and Engineering Company located in Hickory, North Carolina. We provide Field Service Engineering, Motor Circuit Analysis, Monitoring and Instrumentation, Design & Fabrication, and Technical Consulting to local industrial manufacturing companies.
Eastern Automation Services is focused on providing unparalleled problem solving techniques to insure customer satisfaction. We strive to be fully equipped and trained to address all areas of industrial control systems
Where:
90% of our customers are located within 2 hours of our Hickory office. Some overnight and out of town travel is required.
Qualifications:
? Minimum 5 years experience in PLC?s programming and troubleshooting - Allen Bradley, Siemens, Automation Direct. (GE, Mitsubishi, Omron, etc, a plus)
? HMI programming
? Minimum 10 years experience in troubleshooting and installing motors and drives. ? AC, DC, Induction, Servo, Stepper, Linear, Synchronous.
? Experienced in troubleshooting power electronics.
? Experienced in using digital oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems, power analyzers, meggers, digital multimeters, current clamps.
? Complete AutoCAD electrical drawings.
? Design and fabricate control panels
? Background in electronics a plus
? Technical degree preferred but will substitute with experience.
? Passionate about industrial control systems
? Enthusiastic and energetic
? Focused on company success
