Field Engineer - CT / XR (Lincoln, NE)

In this role, the Field Engineer will be responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the CT/XR (Computed Tomography/ Xray) Diagnostic Imaging equipment and driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.
Responsibilities include:
*Completing Preventative Maintenance on designated equipment
*Managing repair parts cycle times
*Performing Functional Management Inspections
*Maintaining customer service logs and internal service records
*Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction
*Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated
*Meeting Health and Human Services and Environment Health and Safety requirements
*Managing vendors service delivery processes in compliance with GE Healthcare policies
*Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues and conducting root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving
*Participating in sales opportunities such as contract renewals and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs
*Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts with assigned area

Qualifications/Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent military education or Associates Degree with 6 years experience servicing electronic equipment, or a High School Diploma/GED and 12+ years experience servicing electronic equipment.
*You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history and educational background.
*Willingness to travel 4-5 days/week within your local specified geographic region
*Willingness to take a drug test
*You must be eligible to be legally authorized to work in the United States
*You must be willing to work out of a home-based office located near the Lincoln NE area
*Must have a valid driver's license
*To the extent you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned/leased, privately owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record

Desired:
*Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner
*Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process
*Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment in the Healthcare Industry

Field Engineers are required to complete all Quality and EHS assigned training. These trainings are tracked and monitored to assure that all of Field Service is compliant with Quality Regulations and EHS Requirements.
