Summary:
Alpha Technologies Services, a member of the Alpha Group, which provides world-class powering solutions, seeks a Field Service Engineer 2 for its facility in Suwanee, GA. The Field Service Engineer 2 Installs, modifies, and repairs equipment and systems. Follows established policies and procedures in conducting on-site installation and testing of equipment to ensure proper working order. Trains customer personnel in equipment operation and maintenance responsibilities. Interfaces effectively with Engineering and Manufacturing departments regarding equipment performance and potential product improvements. Assists in the development of local turn-up and test, preventative maintenance, and other service contrats with local customers.
Requirements:2 year Technical Degree or equivalent military training2 ? 4 years experience in electronics (experience in Cable TV plant and wireless industry is a plus)Strong verbal communication & computer skills25% to 50% travelBSEE or BSEET, and back-up generator system experience is a plus.
