Field Service Mechanic

 

Engine Systems, Inc.

 

In search of a professional mechanic with experience in servicing, tearing down, and rebuilding diesel and gas engines.

 

 Essential Duties

 

Ability to work and perform unsupervised.

 

Capable of writing detailed and accurate field service reports.

 

Excellent customer relations skills. Ability to work directly with customers to schedule required repairs as needed while in the field.

 

Maintains frequent contact with management to obtain approval for changes and/or additions to work requirements.

 

Willingness to travel and work long hours, including weekends and holidays.

 

Perform other tasks as requested by immediate supervisor

 

Job Requirements

 

Capable of completely disassembling engine and identifying all components in accordance to engine model number.

 

Capable of performing complete engine tests.

 

Ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical problems

 

Knowledge of all aspects of engine repair and overhaul.

 

Ability to recognize and correct safety hazards.

 

Willing to work with High Speed Generator and Gas Engines (gensets).

 

Basic computer skills preferred. (Microsoft: word, excel). Internet.
