Field Service Representative EDM

FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - CNC EDM MACHINES


Our client, a leading global manufacturer of CNC Wire and Sinker EDM machines  is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative.  As a Field Service Representative you will be responsible for providing customer service and problem resolution at new and existing client sites. You will provide field service assistance ensuring customer satisfaction and maximum machine performance and uptime by maintaining equipment functionality, troubleshooting, upgrading and repairing machine tools, software and controls. The successful candidate will become a technical expert with highly developed customer satisfaction and communication skills. Overnight travel required with the flexibility to be available for last minute escalations


Job requirements:


Two-year degree (associate’s preferred) in electronics, computer science, automation technology or equivalent work experience

Three years’ industrial machine repair experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (including military).CNC control and EDM machining technology is a strong plus.

Highly skilled EDM machine operators and set up personnel looking for a new career is strong plus

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot state of the art CNC controls is a plus

 Prior field service experience is desired but not required. 

A valid driver’s license is required and you must be willing and able to spend up to 3 to 4 overnights per week away from home.
