Field Service Technician/Engineer - UPS

Our client is a leading service and maintenance provider for critical power protection equipment including single and three phase UPS equipment.Due to expanding market penetration in central and south Florida they are seeking several Field Service Technicians/Engineers of varying levels of experience to support their expanding equipment base.

This position can be home based from anywhere in South Florida and will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and trouble shooting various technical issues requiring engineering intervention.  All positions are responsible for covering a small region and have the use of a company vehicle.

The position requires an Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent military training; 1-2 years-related technical field service experience; strong problem identification, resolution and root cause analysis skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.

Previous hands-on experience with uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) will definitely get our attention.  Candidates who possess experience with generators, VFD, HPR, switchgear, transfer switches, and power distribution units will also be considered.
